Valerie Wainwright

Valerie is passionate about community-focused programming and is dedicated to creating a welcoming and positive experience for every visitor to the Palo Alto Museum. She is excited to engage with visitors and share the stories that illuminate Palo Alto’s past, strengthen its present and inspire a brighter future. Valerie has over a decade of experience in visitor services, membership operations, volunteer coordination and public engagement at museums, historic sites and non-profit organizations including SFMOMA, Filoli and the Museum of Arts and Design in New York City. She holds a BA in American Studies from Yale University, and an MA in Museum Studies from the University of San Francisco.
