Chapter Two — Palo Alto Stories: First Look at Two Museum Inaugural Exhibits

Step inside the Palo Alto Museum main hall to get your first look at two inaugural exhibits: Doña Juana Briones and I AM PALO ALTO.

Meet Juana Briones — 19th-century entrepreneur, matriarch, advocate, healer, and landowner, who pioneered how women of her time could create impact.

Then try I AM PALO ALTO by talking with “Pam,” an AI-powered digital docent, and explore the lives of five Palo Altans who changed the world through education, food, music, technology, and more.

Explore, listen, ask questions, and share your perspective as we bring these stories to life — with hands-on activities, food, music, artifacts, and special guests with family ties to the people featured.
